The problem with your theory is that as our knowledge of history
advances, the Bible continues to be verified.

I have already stated that the first 11 chapters of Genesis are
semi-historical, and written in a mythical manner as myths were used in
ancient times as parables to convey the truth. Most people do not
understand the meaning of "myth" and equate it with a "lie". But the
subsequent sections of the Bible are history. And not the usual
history, history that shows the pattern of what is to come.

Critics conveniently
ignore time after time that archaeology has verified that the Bible is
true.
